The International Congresses on Ultrasonics are launched as a new conference format to overcome the fragmentation of the scientific and engineering community working in the general field of ultrasonics. It is expected that the ICU will provide an excellent platform for the exchange between scientists from industry, academia, government and suppliers of ultrasound equipment.

The 2007 ICU Vienna local organizing committee wishes all participants of the 2007 ICU Vienna a fruitful congress and an enjoyable stay in Vienna.

Organizing Institutions:

The organizers of the 2007 ICU Vienna are the Vienna University of Technology, represented by the Institute of General Physics, the Austrian Acoustics Association and the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
